STATE WAR MEMORIAL | KINGS PARK
Dismantling and rebuilding of the cenotaph 2004-2005
Architect – Considine and Griffiths Architects

Located overlooking the Swan River, Perth city and Darling Escarpment the 18m high State War Memorial Cenotaph was completed in 1929 in remembrance of those lost in the First World War. To allow remedial and waterproofing works to occur to the crypt below the memorial, Colgan Industries dismantled and re-erected the cenotaph and also carried conservation works to the plaques attached to the cenotaph.
